Medals are a New York Electronic/Pop group who are very reminiscent of New Wave. The difference is that they succeed in taking away the cheesiness of the genre and replace it with creative, fun melodies. The vocals are a bit off at times, and some songs captivate you considerably more than others, but this doesn't slow down the flow and the luscious tone of the album by too much.
