This is math rock from a time when the genre was just a blimp inside the head of a certain rock critics..bands like drive like jehu and don cabllero continued the norm..I always thought Bastro was always underappreciated of all of David Grubbs work cause this is more of a supergroup..members went onto play in groups like Tortoise,Gastr del sol, The sea and cake.
