This is really good. I loved the way the autotune crackled and popped. Almost like an old school record.

Crunkcore burst onto the music scene in 2009. If you're unfamilliar with it, crunkcore is an amalgamation of Crunk and Hardcore. For the even further uneducated, that means screaming raps over cheap beats. Many bands are known as crunkcore or were at one point in time. Brokencyde, Breathe Carolina, I set My Friends On Fire, all were once known to have party centric lyrics about drugs and girls.

Now onto the following album. The vocals aren't very good and sound choppy and poorly edited at times, leaving a lot to be desired. Most of the songs are parodies or mixtape style reimaginings of existing songs from the time period that it was recorded (2009). While some of the lyrics are funny 'If you've got a boyfriend, I don't give a f**king Bull-s**t, I'm gonna hit him in the d**k, than I'm gonna f**k him in the a**hole real f**kin' quick.', they come few and far between in the big picture of things. The whole recording itself almost feels like more of an afterthought than anything, a snapshot of what could have been. I don't know about you, but when it comes to crunkcore and misogynistic lyrics, I'll stick with BC13.

3/5.
