4.5 superb | SuzyC | December 2nd 19 | Put into temporal context (early 1984), it's obvious Akira and company weren't copying anybody. The blend of thrash and hard rock with some dashes of prog (see "Esper" and "Butterfly" in particular) sounded really fresh, and still kicks heaps of ass. I first heard this in '85, and it's remained in high esteem ever since.

3.5 great | Robbit | February 20th 17 | Some really great playing by Akira Takasaki here, namely on "Crazy Doctor", "Esper", "Dream Fantasy" and "Exploder" (which could be considered his "Eruption"). Some great moments, but the songwriting still needed to mature a bit. Still quite impressive and very promising.
