Swallow, and in 1993 they released their first full-length album, Diesel & Power before Dregen left to spend time on his other
project, The Hellacopters.
In 1997, Dregen reunited with the rest of the band to record a second album, Total 13, released later that year. Success still, however,
eluded the foursome. It wasn't until they teamed up with veteran geordie rocker Ginger of The Wildhearts that the group tasted
commercial success. Having previously worked together in the supergroup Super$shit 666, the pair were acquainted with each other's
similar styles and tastes. Ginger helped the band write a significant portion of their third album, Making Enemies Is Good, including the
hit 'Brand New Hate' from which the album title is derived.
In 2006, The Hellacopters singer Nicke Andersson helped produce their fifth studio album, People Like People Like People Like Us,
which was followed-up in 2008 with their self titled album, Backyard Babies[]/I]. « hide |
