Also known as the Dirty Dozen, d12 is a Detroit-based rap group whose most famous member is rap superstar Eminem. Though the group had only six members, they called themselves the "Dirty Dozen" to account for the two personalities each of them possessed and rapped under - in Eminem's case, Em and Slim Shady. Their debut album proferred the hit singles 'Purple Pills' (edited on the radio as 'Purple Hills') and 'Fight Music'.
