Oh-OK was a short lived underground new wave/post-punk band from Athens, Georgia that first formed in 1981. The group soon developed a large following around the Georgia area for their unique sound which often had a melodic, haunting sound to it. In 1984, after only releasing two EP’s solely on vinyl, Oh-OK ended up disbanding. One of the vocalists of Oh-OK, Linda Hopper, would notably go on to form the cult band Magnapop in 1989.
