Pete Townshend is the main songwriter and guitarist, and the sometime-vocalist, of the iconic British rock band The Who.
Ronnie Lane was the bass player of the British band The Small Faces (1965-69), and the revamped version of that band, The Faces
(1969-1973). In the late 1970s, he was diagnosed with multiple scleroris, from which he died in June of 1997.
