The Primitives are an indie pop/new wave band from England. First formed in 1984, the group had massive success throughout
the late 80's in the US and the UK, most specifically with their 1988 single "Crash", which reached number 5 on the UK Singles
chart, number 3 on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and number 15 on the South African Singles chart. The Primitives
originally split in 1992, but reunited in 2009 and released their comeback album in 2012, "Echoes and Rhymes", which was their
first album release since "Galore" in 1991.
