Vanexa were one of the first Italian heavy metal bands,their self-titled LP was consecrated by the national pressas the first Italian heavymetal album. Born in Savona in1978, their sound was typically Anglo-Saxon evidenceabroad where they were cited by several magazinesasproponents of the new wave of heavy metal bandsfrom late '70s early '80s. They also participated as aheadliner at the first heavy metalfestival held in CertaldoItalian in Florence May 21, 1983.
