It's highly characterised by their extensive use of outworldy sound effects and an expansive use of amplification to create a vast 'wall of sound'.Since the band's inception in 1999 they have released six LPs and six EPs. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2004 by Music for Nations. Their second album, Insider was released in Europe in 2006 on the SPV label. Despite the fact that both albums garnered positive acclaim upon release the band has always maintained a small, if loyal fan base. After leaving their record label due to disputes, they self released their third album, The Octopus -- a double album consisting of 16 songs and over 2 hours of music -- after four years in 2011 to critical acclaim. This led to them being courted by several record labels for their fourth album and they finally signed with Kscope (label ofAnathema and The Pineapple Thief), with Echo Street slated for an early 2013 release. The band has since released two more LPs -- Mystoria in 2014 and Trippin' with Dr. Faustus in 2017. « hide
