Formed in 1966, Cream took psychedelic music to a level never heard before, keeping the trippy appeal of The Beatles and combining it with
virtuoso playing by all the group's members. Considered the first power trio, Cream boasted three of the finest players of the time with Eric
Clapton (guitar & vocals), Jack Bruce (bass & vocals) and Ginger Baker (drums & vocals).

Their legacy, however, remains untouched, along with The Beatles and The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream were one of the most important and
innovative bands of the 60's, significantly shaping the face of rock music. With their technically accomplished, heavy and still widely appealing
sound, they laid the groundwork for famous names in the next decade, ranging from hard rockers Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple to heavy metal
