Formed in the suburbs of Chicago in 1998, Spitalfield play punky alternative rock with some pop sensibilities. Their debut five-song EP The Cloak and
Dagger Club came out in October 2002, and in February 2003 they entered the studio to work on their first full-length album, Stop Doing Bad Things, a
hard-driving collection of harmony-laden pop that brings to mind bands like the Foo Fighters and Jimmy Eat World. It was released in 2005.
