Peter Kuschnereit (b. 1970, West Berlin, Germany), his latest release is “Relish” (Jun 2008, Scion).
Kuschnereit always lived in Berlin‘s well known Kreuzberg district. He was invited to work at Hard Wax record store in 1991
(where underground / import records tended to first appear), he still works there. During the years Pete learned to create
electronic music himself, inspired by early Chicago/Detroit artists, especially by productions of the well known label Basic
Channel. His first releases came, with René Löwe (aka Vainqueur), as Scion (Chain Reaction, Berlin) and as Substance.
