M.I.R.V. was founded by Mirv Haggard in San Francisco, Ca. and draws from a wide variety of influences including Primus, Praxis and
others. Les Claypool from Primus even released their debut album, Cosmodrome, on his indie label, Prawn Song and appears on a few
tracks. M.I.R.V. has been known to often open for Claypool's various bands since their formation. Their live show is zany and weird but it
always consistently rocks with aggressive riffing, rumbling basslines, and thunderous drumbeats to compliment Mirv's crazed vocals.
