Angkor Wat is an American crossover/thrash metal band from Corpus Christi, Texas. Initially active between 1986 and 1991, the band was prominent in the hardcore and crossover scene that emerged in South Texas in the 80s. They played shows alongside bands such as Suicidal Tendencies, GBH, Devastation, Watchtower and Cryptic Slaughter and released two studio albums before disbanding. Drummer Dave Nuss would go on to join avant-folk/free-folk group No-Neck Blues Band, while guitar and bass players Adam Grossman and Danny Lohner would go on to found industrial metal band Skrew. The latter would also play for Nine Inch Nails and A Perfect Circle. Angkor Wat reformed in 2018. « hide
