After Bruce Dickinson quit Iron Maiden after their ninth album Fear of the Dark, he went on topursue a solo career in which he has, up tothispoint, released six studio albums. His earlier effortssuch as Tattooed Millionare and Balls to Picasso diverged from the sound hecreatedwithMaiden, but on later ones, including Accident of Birth and The Chemical Wedding, he wentback to his heavy metal roots.Even afterrejoining Iron Maiden in the 2000's, Dickinson's solo careercontinues. His most recent outing is 2005's Tyranny of Souls.
