The Prime Minister of Funk. A member of Funk's holy trinity. Quite possibly insane. The mastermind behind the two critically acclaimed bands Parliament-Funkadelic (intrinsically linked), he is one of the most important figures in the history of funk music, and one of the msot sampled artists ever. After Parliament-Funkadelic disbanded in chaotic conditions in the early 1980s, he went on to have a solo career.
