Jet Black Joe is an Icelandic alternative rock band formed in Hafnarfjörður. They were initially active between 1992 and 1996, releasing three studio albums and achieving great success and popularity in their home country. After splitting up, some members went on to form another alternative rock band by the name of Ensími. Jet Black Joe reunited in the 2000s occasionally playing live shows throughout Iceland and releasing another album in 2006. Their current status is unknown.
