Free form psychedelia since 2013Kikagaku Moyo is a stoner rock/acid folk band from Japan. Their style is distinctive for not only paying homage to earlystoner/blues bands like Blue Cheer and Black Sabbath, but incorporating ideas from indigenous Japanese folk music. Theyreleased their debut album, Kikagaku Moyo, in 2013. This was soon followed by Mammatus Clouds the following year.Their sophomore record paid more homage to free-psychedelia and longer, more progressive arrangements.Their third studio effort, Forest of Lost Children, was released in mid-2014 to acclaim from those who bought it.
