Latino Velvet was a rap group from California. First formed in 1996, it was essentially centered around veteran Chicano rapper
Jay Tee, and had numerous members throughout its history before settling as a duo of Jay Tee and Baby Bash. Although they
didn't announce an official split, Latino Velvet have been on-and-off in terms of activity since 2008.
