Lost Boyz

Lost Boyz is a hip hop group from South Jamaica, Queens, New York. Originally formed in 1994, the group had impressive commercial success, with two of their albums going gold: 1996's "Legal Drug Money" and 1997's "Love, Peace & Nappiness". Lost Boyz had a huge setback in early 1999 when member Freaky Tah was murdered, and their third album, 1999's "LB IV Life", was a commercial and critical failure. Lost Boyz had a huge setback in early 1999 when member Freaky Tah was murdered, and their third album, 1999's "LB IV Life", was a commercial and critical failure. These circumstances, as well as the imprisonment of two of the remaining members of Lost Boyz, led the group to disband by late 1999. The only member who was left, Mr. Cheeks, went on to start his own solo career. In 2010, the three remaining members of Lost Boyz reformed, and released their comeback single, "Haaay", was released in 2011. In 2014, however, Lost Boyz ended up disintegrating once more, and nothing is currently stated regarding the group's future. « hide
