Lotion is an alternative/indie rock group formed in 1991. Based in New York City, the group recorded 3 studio albums before disbanding in 1999. However, the members do occasionally regroup to play live together. They got their start as independents on the Kokopop label, but soon went onto several well-known different labels, including Rough Trade and spinART.
