2009-2010 saw Marya Roxx turn from bass player with platinum-selling pop/rock sensation Vanilla Ninja, into the credible rock/metal artist she always aspired to be.

With her debut Album ‘Payback Time’ produced by Kevin Shirley (Iron Maiden, HIM) already picking up strong support across the globe she’s also received great press from her Autumn headline tour, performing slots at Rock of Ages Festival, Hellfire Festival and her much talked about set at Hammerfest (Metal Hammer magazines Festival) where she lit up the stage alongside the likes of Opeth, Skindred and Sepultura . Marya also took to the stage at Hard Rock Hell III. Her performance was described by Classic Rock Magazine to be fearsome, claws-out she wolf… Set highlights included title track '21?!' which they described as a “storming song”.
Marya has just finished her 'Rebel Wave Tour' Which included two amazing solo shows and Eight shows as Special Guest for the awesome Primal Fear! Earlier this year Marya also supported everyone's favourite Ragga Metalers Skindred on her very successful 'Time To Run 2010 Tour'
On top of this Marya Roxx has assembled a powerhouse of a band which includes former Anthrax Guitarist Paul Crook, Scott Metaxas from Nuclear Assault and the exceptional Jim Roe from Incantation. In short this band is the nuts and not to be missed.
Described by Rock Hard Magazine Germany as ‘One of the great surprises of 2009’ Uber Rock said “There is more than enough quality wrapped up in this shiny disc. Marya has the voice, certainly the looks and, on the basis of this four-track EP, a shot at cracking a tough section of the rock market.
Things are already looking good for Marya Roxx and it looks like things are only going to get better still.
