Mateus Aleluia (born in Cachoeira , September 1943) is a Brazilian singer and composer , reminiscent of the original formation of the musical group Os Tincoãs. He moved to Angola in 1983, where he started to develop cultural research work for the Angolan government. In 2002, he returned to Brazil and in 2010 he debuted with "Cinco Sentidos", his first solo album, produced by Selo Garimpo and sponsored by Petrobrás. In 2017 he released "Fogueira Doce", a new album produced independently. He also participated in a biographical documentary that is expected to be released in 2020.
