Missile Girl Scoot were an alternative metal band from Japan that formed in 1994. The group originally went by the alias of
TacosS, but ended up changing their name to Missile Girl Scoot by 1999. Within just a few years, Missile Girl Scoot became
known for their highly unique sound, which often blended nu metal with a punky edge, and, later on, ska. This set them apart
from the rest of the Japanese nu metal bands, which seemed to have flooded throughout the early 2000's. The group also
managed to have some minor mainstream success in the early 2000's, but eventually ended up splitting in 2003. Some of the
members of Missile Girl Scoot went on to join the bands NIA and Deltabash.
