Mortem is the band that later evolved into Arcturus. Although the band line-up didn't change when Arcturus was formed, it's wrong to
say that Mortem simply changed name. The Mortem line-up still performs live, although they have never released anything other than
a demo. They play a very raw style of old-school death metal with some grind and black influences.
