Lionel Hunt, better known as Mr. Short Khop, is a rapper from California. Getting his break through a chance meeting at a 7/11 with Ice Cube, Mr. Short Khop made his debut on Cube’s 1998 album “War & Peace Vol. 1 (The War Disc)”, and would later release his debut album, “Da Khop Shop”, in 2001. The album, although having mediocre reviews, was a modest mainstream success, with it reaching number 34 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It would end up being his only album to date, however, with Mr. Short Khop releasing only a few sparse singles and making a few appearances on other rappers’ albums since then.
