Revolverheld is a German rock band originating from Hamburg, Germany. They formed in 2003. They cycled through the names "Manga" and "Tsunamikiller" before choosing "Revolverheld" (named after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake).
Their song "Rock n' Roll" gained them a lot of attention and in 2004 they were signed to Sony BMG.
