Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles is a post-rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Their name is taken from a 2005 Chinese film by thesame name. Their songs are all instrumental with the only vocals coming from various field recordings and samples. They are an eleven-pieceband that consists of 5 guitars, bass, drums, violin, cello, piano, bells and a harp. Their musical compositions are usually experimental andchange drastically in style over the course of each song. In early 2008, Riding Alone For Thousands of Miles self released an album entitled ABoldogság Minden Reményét Elragadták.
