That album went highly unnoticed, but in 1986, he collaborated with Tinnie Punx, and released "Kensetsuteki", which carved him a place in the Japanese underground scene. Throughout the 80's and the early 90's, he released some albums, but eventually left the hip hop industry to concentrate on acting and appeared in various commercials, starting with being the spokesman for the Sega Mega Drive system in the late 80's. He eventually made a comeback in the Japanese hip hop scene with 2008's "Khazana", his first album in over a decade. He is known for his highly unorthodox style, which often uses heavily sampled instrumentals. He is one of the first breakthrough MC's in the Japanese hiphop scene, and is thus an influence on groups from experimental groups like Kuchiroro, to more conventional hip hop acts like Kick the Can Crew. Seiko Ito is also a close ally of the aforementioned group, Kuchiroro. « hide
