Speena was an alternative rock band from Japan that first formed in 1999. Within a year, the group went major, and had somemild mainstream
success throughout the 2000's up until their disbandment in 2007. Frontwoman Kanako and guitarist Shiho wenton to immediately form the indie pop
duo Yvonne Sisters, which also ended up disintegrating in 2011. While Kanako disappearedfrom the music scene, Shiho went on to become a support
musician for numerous bands, and also resumed activities with herfirst group Much-Yo in 2014.
