Tank Girl is a punk band from Nepal, partly consisting of members from the popular group Rai Ko Ris. While Rai Ko Ris is a politically-charged band in itself, Tank Girl is a side-project dedicated solely to discuss and vent about abuse against women, which is common in Nepal. Tank Girl has only released one album to date, 2005’s “Kids with Guns + Choco Fun!!”, although they do tend to play at a somewhat regular pace at abuse benefits across Nepal.
