The Bordellos formed in 2000 in St Helens, England.
They were formed from a mixture of earlier band Onion King's three members Brian Shea (vocals, guitar), Gary Storey (vocals, bass) and Ant Shea (vocals, percussion) and new members Vinny Oates (keys) and Jeff Parr (guitar).
For a while they were augmented by Mike Simm (drums) who then left, as did Jeff and Vinny. Since then, they have continued to record, and as the band hit middle age they started to get success.
