The Buzzhorn was a post-grunge outfit from Milwaukee, Wisconsin that is known mostly for their major label debut "Disconnected" with Atlantic Records in 2002. The group was hailed by critics during their short tenure, but was largely unheard of abroad the US. Their debut's poor sales led to the band's breakup, citing the turnout to the label's insistent promotion of rival hard rock group Taproot.
The song "Ordinary" was featured in the 2002 video game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, and helped push the album to sales of over 10,000 copies. The band has the honor of having toured with Seether, Injected, Deftones, Default, & Jerry Cantrell (of Alice in Chains fame). In 2013, the band was rumored to be reforming with a new lineup, nearly a decade after their breakup.
