The Pandoras were an all-female rock band from California that first formed in 1982. Originally a garage band, they later branched out into more vast pop rock territory in 1986, before morphing into a full blown hard rock band in 1988. The Pandoras disbanded in 1991 due to the sudden death of frontwoman Paula Pierce, although they have performed a few few reunion lives since 2013.
