The Rockers (often stylized as TH eROCKERS) was a groundbreaking punk band that formed in 1976. They are often referred toas one of the earliest
bands to perform punk music in Japan, along with Inu, ARB and The Star Club. Ever since theirdisbandment in 1982, some of the members remained
active in the Japanese music scene. Frontman Takanori Jinnai surprisinglyeven started a career as a popular movie director and actor.
