The Saboten is a Japanese experimental drum-and-bass band that first formed in 1998. Formed by iconic underground musicianHoppy Kamiyama, the
group released a few albums initially, and also did the soundtrack for the infamous and highly controversialfilm I.K.U. in 2001. In 2003, however, The
Saboten appeared to have disbanded, although they did temporarily reunite in 2009,and released their fourth original album, "Exa Pieco (Unmei no
Aria)", during this time as well.
