The band released two EPs, Mathematics in 1999 and With the Invisible in 2000, before achieving commercial success with their self-titled LP The Servant in 2004. An instrumental version of "Cells" was featured in the trailer for the film Sin City, and the vocal versions of "Cells" and "Body" were included in the Transporter 2 soundtrack. This was the first major exposure to non-European audiences.
Since the Sin City trailer, there has been significant U.S. interest in their records and demands for live concerts. The band, however, decided to focus on touring in Europe. On November 26, 2007, The Servant announced via their MySpace blog that they were splitting up "to move on to pastures new". « hide |
