Tomato n' Pine were a Japanese pop idol trio that formed in 2008. Throughout their lifetime as a group, Tomato n' Pine (also
known as Tomapai among their fans) had mild success, but nothing compared to the other dominant idol groups, such as
Morning Musume, Momoiro Clover Z and AKB48. The trio officially split in 2012 due to creative differences amongst the girls.
