Y Kant Tori Read was a pop/rock group from California. First formed in 1985, the group released one album in 1988 (which was self-titled) to
incredibly poor sales, which led to Y Kant Tori Read disbanding by 1989. Frontwoman Tori Amos went on to launch a remarkably successful solo career
which officially began in 1990.
