If I had to choose one word to describe the electronica-influenced post-hardcore debut EP from Michigan quintet I See Stars, it would be "garbage". It sounds like the product of four 12 year old kids being given electrified instruments for Christmas & then just banging away at them incessantly. Occasionally, their teenage brother unconvincingly screams at them to stop, but the kids can't understand a word he is saying, so they continue on "playing". Shoddily produced, any melody to be found on this excruciating 20 minutes comes incidentally through feedback! If I had to pick a best track, it would be the vocoder-filled 'Save the Cheerleader, Save the World'.
