I was doing what I usually did; surf the net. Not surf like take a surfboard and ride it, but go to search engines, and type in immature things and think I was a rebel. Yeah, we've all been there. Those were the days. While I was doing so, anyways, I stumbled upon a site containing newly made bands. I wanted to hear them, and like a new band, so I could say "HAHA! I heard of them first, im so cool!" Yes, well i found Amber Pacific, and i sure did listen to them before anyone else I knew. At the time that was all that mattered. Now I know that I wasn't the first to hear them, which crushed me, but I guess I've gotten past that.
Amber Pacific, Formerly known as Follow Through, has excelled greatly, and at a rapid speed. The Possibility and The Promise, is most definately their best complete alblum out so far; in fact is is their only complete alblum.
The point is that Amber Pacific stood tall, and took a step up in the Pop Punk department. The possibility and The Promise has the possibility of being one of the best Pop Punk CD's released ever, and promises well. Ironic, huh?
The songs included in this CD, are:
1. Everything We Were Has Become What We Are
2. Poetically Pathetic
3. Gone So Young
4. Save Me From Me
5. Postcards
6. For What It's Worth
7. The Right to Write Me Off
8. The Sky Could Fall Tonight
9. Falling Away
10. Always You (Good Times)
11. If I Fall
12. Can't Hold Back
And none are dissapointing.
The drumming is compelling, the Guitar is catchy, Bass softly heard, but there nonetheless.
The first song, Everything We Were Has Become Waht We Are, basically explains the whole CD. You listen, and you are sucked in. I sure was.
Catchy lyrics, catchy music, catchy, distinct voice. What more can you ask for?
I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10
Next in line is one of my favorites, and may be one of yours, or im kind of all alone right here, which isn't really cool. Seriously though, this song is amazing. Unique too. "If time could stop, how could I make this more poetic, if there's nothing more pathetic to be said." Completely Emo lyrics. So what. This song appeals to most everybody, in most every way. Isn't that what we want? "I would tame the stars, and save the brightest one for you" Good for the guys to use as pick-up lines, and the girls would think it's so sweet, so go out there, and recite Poetically Pathetic!
I'd give it a 9 out of 10
The next song on the alblum, Gone So Young, is a fan favorite. It is also the song that was made into a music video by Amber Pacific. This song.. unearthly catchy. Voice solos, drum solos, guitar solos; geez, im jealous. "Wherever you go I will be waiting, whenever you call I will be there, whatever it takes ill make your darkest days so bright..." Come on! You are reading this, thinking its really bad, well you know what, listen to them. This song is full of long notes, and low sang parts. It is Amber Pacifics #1 hit song on the alblum. If you download any song, get this one.

Save me from Me... wonderful start. You ears focus on the music, drown out everything else. Your hands clench into fists, and your lips tighten. Your nose twitches, and your eyebrown rise. Well not really. But this song is good. It isnt the best on the alblum, but it is still a good one. It comes standard with catchy lyrics, and beat. This song is down to earth, and kind of self-explainatory. Is about the pain inside, and the bad, hidden from others. A message? no, just truth. Honestly though, some parts just arent as good as the rest of the CD. Sadly. I guess every CD has a song in need of improvement..

Postcards. When will they be here? My grandma just sent them from california. Postcards. Perhaps the most upbeat, and fast tempo-ed song o nthe alblum. Another one of my favorites, and should be on your download list. A similar drum start with the guitar soon after. This song, is not really a happy song, but it really.. it gets through you and you start thinking, and smile inside. Why you do? I have no clue, and probably dont want to know. Postcards, a very uptempo song with amazingly catchy lyrics.
I'd Give it a 9 out of 10
For What it's worth, starts differently than most of the songs. It starts with guitar. Not like you really care, but it is still information for those of you whom do care. More sentimental lyrics here, and a lot slower of a son g, yet it is still, well an Amber Pacific song. Violin is also in this song, a violin solo at that. Sound like Yellowcard? Naww. Its pleasant really.
I'd Give it an 8 out of 10
"Can we make this last forever? with every word were growing distant.." The right to write me off, sounds slow. Its not. Its completely out there. In a good way. The right to write me off... play on words? Guess so. The point is that this song will stay in your head ofr a little while, and youll want to play drums after it. Considering its more of a simple drumline throughout the song, and you probably will want to learn it and say your really good. Well in this case, its extremely fitting and well played.
I'd Give it a 7.5 out of 10
AHH!! I'm falling Away!! Falling Away. Whats it with falling and AMber Pacific. They should have named themselves Pitfall or something. The everlasting FAll, I dont know. Good, slow, and strong. Its a strong, Emotional song, and well done. Could be more catchy, yet, it is still phenominal. Another good song by Amber Pacific. Not much else to say about this one.
I'd Give it a 7 out of 10
Always You(Good Times). Amber Pacific's infamous two named song. Also, another hit song by Amber Pacific. I personally love this song. Its quick, to the point, and good. Honestly, thats what we want. It makes you want, well more Amber Pacific. Recommendation? Yes. Download list? Yes. Get it. This song, is about good times, if you have them, that is. That IS what it's named Always You(Good Times). Duh.
I'd Give it a 9 out of 10
If I fall. How about if I hear another song with fall in the name... Its a slow song. Very emotional, sentimental, and sad. Its a slower one, so bring your date, and dance! Its a nice song, and really speaks to the listeners; more of singing, but whatever. It is well, maybe you should listen. Its a song with a good moral.
I'd Give it an 8.5 out of 10
The last song on The Possibility and The Promise, Can;t Hold Back. From what? falling? Ok, I get it. Enough with the falling jokes. A good guitar start, tieing into the rest of the song and the drums; are good as usual. Like For what it's worth, yet different lyrics really. Its a true song "If it happen, it happens.." Really meaningful, and I can see why it was chosen as the final song on the alblum. Because its a good closer. To me, it is the completing factor of the song.
I'd Give it an 8.5 out of 10
So really to summarize this all, The Possibility and The Promise is an amazing CD, and you should pick it up at a store near you, or download it off of iTunes. I got this, and it wasn't a waste of my money, I can assure you. I got it for about $16. So go out there and spend your allowance. Not on stupid stuff like i used to.. So i've learned a lesson from Amber Pacific. Instead of wasting my allowance on something stupid, and a wtotal waste, get an Amber Pacific CD, because thats not any of those.
Warning: Do not get more than one CD with your allowance. One is sufficient.
