I agree that you can't win it on your own, it's a team sport, BUT when you join forces with 2 of the BEST players in the league, YEAH, you're going to get shit whether you win or lose. |

That's the point of playing professional sports: winning titles(besides $, of course).
You know what? I'm going to take your advice.
Fuck Team USA! They shouldn't join forces to win an Olympic title. Lebron should just go on the court with Spud Webb and Brian Scalabrine. |
GhostHead
07.07.12 | Hah! KG, Pierce and Allen, 3 players well past there prime. They came spent 10-plus years on their respected teams and then finally decided enough was enough. They came together and won, i won't hate on that. I do not appreciated you calling my statements "dumb" and trying to make me out to be some sort of idiot due to the fact that you have no argument. |
Deafcorejr
07.07.12 | I have plenty of an argument, and your statements are dumb. You're mad because he had a desire to win a title, saw a chance to play with his best friends, took LESS money to do it, and decided to go there. The Cavs didn't have any cap space to get anyone, so what was he going to do? Spend another 7 years in Cleveland rotting, only getting to the ECF's and struggling? If I were Lebron, I would say fuck that shit as well. I understand if you think he's a scumbag for breaking the news to Cleveland the way he did, but continuing to hate on him 2 years later is pretty pathetic. The guy went out there, had one of the best post-seasons of all time, and won a ring. That's the goal: winning rings. |
GhostHead
07.07.12 | Plus, these three stand-outs almost lost to Indiana and then almost to Boston, they're lucky OKC wasn't on their game. |
Deafcorejr
07.07.12 | 3 standouts against Indiana? You're forgetting that Wade had a bad knee, and Bosh was out after Game 1 in that series.
You're also forgetting that regardless of what happened before Game 5 of the finals, the Heat still raised up the trophy, so that argument is erroneous.
OKC wasn't on their game? KD struggled defending Lebron because he can't, and they couldn't find scoring outside of KD and Westbrook. Wanna know why? Because they went up against one of the top 3, if not the best, defensive team in the league. They also didn't have a clue as to how to defend the Heat on the offensive end. They would try and double team Lebron and they'd leave the arc WIDE OPEN. |

07.07.12 | Celtics fans are on suicide watch tonight.
Fuck the James hype, Jordan won more games and championships with far inferior players around him. Jackson had to BEG Jordan's teammates to not rely so much on him during those first three championships. James needs Wade and Co. |
GhostHead
07.07.12 | I'm not denying the fact that Lebron is great player, I just think he tucked his tail between his legs and joined with a winner in Wade. I will never deny the fact the Lebron is great, he just needs winners around him to, well, "win". Good for him, he got a title and I hope he enjoys it. |

07.07.12 | yea ghostheads right. for 3 players to come toghether they gotta be at least 35 years or older. its only fair..
and yea the Heat got totally lucky every round in the playoffs, i mean if Stoudamire didnt hurt his hand the Knick could have won too. |
Deafcorejr
07.07.12 | Jordan won more game and titles with far inferior players around him?!?!
Are you fucking insane? Scottie's one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history, and Rodman isn't a slouch neither. They also had a deeper bench than the Heat have had these last two years. |
GhostHead
07.07.12 | Besides Jordan and Pippen, who else? Toni Kukoc made an All-Star game while on the Bulls and then faded off into the black. Rodman was established already, great rebounder/defender but couldn't make a layup, Luke Longley LOL, and Harper was, well, I don't know, OK at times i guess. |
Skoj
07.07.12 | "Are you fucking insane?"
Are you fucking dumb? He didn't have Rodman during their first three-peat (he joined in 95). Pippen's 91 and 92 campaigns were great, not as great as Wade's worst year. Grant simply does not compare to Bosh, and beyond those three, who did they have from 91-94? Armstrong? Cartwright? Come on, you're clueless to even insinuate James got less help than Jordan. And if you want to say that James is on Jordan's level, you're fucking stunted. |
Deafcorejr
07.07.12 | It's not about starters, you fucking fucktards. It's also about the bench. If you look at the stats(which you probably won't), you'll see that the Bulls had a much deeper bench than the Heat. It's not just about starters or superstars, it's about the whole team.
and once again, how can you say Lebron needs Wade and Bosh more than they need him? Without the efforts of Lebron this year in the playoffs, the Heat would have NEVER gotten past the Celtics.
This coming from a guy who absolutely HATES LBJ as a person.

in all honesty I skipped to the end and read the last three comments, so I made incorrect assumptions about your opinion. But my argument remains valid, and as I did check the stats, the 90-91 bulls, one of the greatest teams in NBA history, had a statistically weaker bench than the 11-12 heat. I'm not posting the whole story, but it's clear putting the two rosters side by side which bench was more productive. Heat, ESPECIALLY in the playoffs. Clearly, James had more help than Jordan, at least during the first three-peat. |

We have to give him/them credit for that. By no means should we be comparing him to MJ though. Give it a few years at least. Allen is an interesting addition.
