MeatSalad
10.05.12 | Greatest album of all time |
SIMBOLIC
10.05.12 | Yep. There's music on this list |
sniper
10.05.12 | 10 isn't the greatest album of all time, but i love horse the band than any other band for sure. |
MeatSalad
10.05.12 | As a band agreed but as musicians not so much |
SgtPepper
10.05.12 | Mate, your taste is music good. Impressive list, as always.
Jamming 30 as we speak. |
MeatSalad
10.05.12 | Thanks man, yeah 30 is excellent just discovered it recently and it's a huge nostalgia blast on top of being great music. |
SgtPepper
10.05.12 | I love 60's music, I'll always have a soft spot for it. And yeah, I really like The Zombies one of the best bands of the "british invasion" as americans call it. I really like your lists though, we have similar tastes and you often have some band that I've never heard of that catches my eye (16 and 18 in this case) |
MeatSalad
10.05.12 | Yeah, I put Kingston Wall on my lists all the time because they're colossally overlooked. If you really haven't heard them I'd highly recommend them, they only have three albums but they're all prog rock gold. |
Ethics
10.05.12 | awesome list |
MeatSalad
10.05.12 | Really wanna see you lowd but it takes so long maaah lowwwdd |
ReturnToRock
10.05.12 | Sooo...70% indie and 30% metal? Odd taste.
22 slays though. That's the one with 'Dinosaur' in it, right? |
MeatSalad
10.05.12 | Your math is definitely a little flawed there, my man. I'd say less than 50% of this list is indie. And I don't think mercyful fate even have a song called dinosaur... |
MeatSalad
10.05.12 | Unless you're mistakenly referring to the king crimson album, in which case no, dinosaur is on Thrak. |
ReturnToRock
10.05.12 | Yeah I was referring to Discipline. I remember liking it best among all my KC albums. But my favourite song by them that I've heard is definitely Dinosaur. See what I mean about a chorus? LOL
Re: Mercyful Fate, it brings up my other point made in the Muse review. I never got into them because I can't get around the vocals.
I've heard good things about The Zombies, do they sound at all like The Monks? What's the closest comparison to them sound-wise? |
MeatSalad
10.05.12 | The zombies are kind of like the kinks, listen to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oc7b62El_fk you'll likely recognize it. |
