Dat New New

New stuff I've gotten and have been digging. Also, just started watching Community (season 1 baby, so out of the loop its incredible) and it's pretty awesome so far. I can't help but laugh when it reminds me of going to a community college. Ugh that was terrible!
1Snowmine
Laminate Pet Animal

Damn this album is really fantastic. Piece of Your Pie or Hologram might be my
favorite track. Has enough weirdness to make it really standout, and I just can't get
enough.
2Anberlin
Vital

Whoa. Haven't dug an Anberlin release this hard on the first couple of listens since
I discovered the band. I really love the heavier moments on the album - when they
take the foot off the gas I start to lose interest. Definitely a great record
3Graph Rabbit
Snowblind

Splitting time between 1 and this. Great vocals, super mellow vibes and it creates
this great laid back atmosphere you can get lost into. Headphone music for sure -
would be awesome to listen to in the fall or winter (I live in the tropics, so I can just
crank that air conditioning and make a blanket fort, I guess.)
4Sithu Aye
Invent the Universe

Inspired by Carl Sagan, I've barely had this album for a day and haven't given it
much time but some songs are already killer (like Recombination). This guy shreds
and got me back into really playing guitar again and trying to challenge myself.
5Wot Gorilla?
Kebnekaise

Saw similar artists were This Town Needs Guns, and was not disappointed. Their
sound is all over the place in the best way possible.
6No Trigger
Tycoon

Great guitar parts in fast paced punk? Yes, please!
7Real Friends
Everyone That Dragged You Here

Still giving this a couple of spins to see how much I like it, but I'm real hungry for
some new, quality pop punk.
8Mogwai
Young Team

I've listened to their contemporaries, but never gave Mogwai the chance they
deserved.

Got recommended this by a friend, just grabbed it today. Hopefully it's awesome!
14Neurosis
Honor Found In Decay

Excited to give this bad boy a spin.

Fucking great
