I don't believe so. I'm pretty sure it's the formation of calcium in your ureters because the calcium isn't dissolving in urine. I believe it's the movement of the calcium deposits through your ureters that causes the pain, and when it gets to the urethra (which is a larger tube) it passes in the urine unnoticed. I'm pretty sure they give you a little funnel with a screen in it to piss in so you can actually find out when it is passed (because otherwise it'd go unnoticed entirely). |
