| Just Saw Cryptopsy Live
Was cool | 1 | | Pestilence Spheres
The show was very intimate probably like 100 people there | 2 | | Pestilence Consuming Impulse
The two opener bands involved all the same members except switching guitar to vocals and a different guy for drums lolwut. | 3 | | Cryptopsy Whisper Supremacy
The first band was awful, the second opener was okay. The second band's vocalist had a legendary stage presence and performance. | 4 | | Captain Murphy Duality
The crazy ass second opener threw a ball into the middle of a wall of death and said whoever has the ball at the end of the song gets a t-shirt. | 5 | | Outkast Aquemini
Cryptopsy put on a decent show, I believe the vocals improved since their self titled album was released. They also had a back up vocalist doing a lot of work as well, which I don't think they had on their last album. | 6 | | The Forsaken Traces Of The Past
There were some parts Matt didn't even attempt because nobody can beat Lord Worm. | 7 | | Cryptopsy None So Vile
I was right at the front and center for their performance occasionally attempting to scream along, Matt looked me in the eye gave me a thumbs up. When the next song 'Benedictine Convlusions' started he gave me the microphone. I panicked and fucked up but still gave a mighty scream lol, to which he took back after the opening. | 8 | | Burzum Filosofem
Matt sounded good mimicking the vocals for None So Vile Songs, yet he didn't try to sound like Mike on the songs normally featuring his vocals. | 9 | | Cryptopsy Once Was Not
Set list from what I remember: two pound torch, slit your guts, shag harbour's visitors, white worms, amputated enigma, gavarged, pathological frolic (they said it is like their first time playing it live), golden square mile, benedictine convulsions, some song from the unspoken king, grave of the fathers. | 10 | | Cryptopsy Cryptopsy
encore: red skinned scapegoat, crown of horns | |
Funeralopolis
11.23.12 | overall pretty decent, had a nice setlist, small venue, improved vocals although they did play a bit too loud. First opener sucked ass, second opener was fun. | CrimsonFloyd
11.23.12 | I'm gonna see them tomorrow in Montreal. There are 4 shitty deathcore bands opening but whatever. | someguest
11.23.12 | "The show was very intimate probably like 100 people there"
So when the band is shit, and nobody shows up to see them, we call the show "intimiate"? | Funeralopolis
11.23.12 | welll the venue is also extremely small | Spec
11.23.12 | Did they play The Unspoken King in its entirety? | someguest
11.23.12 | lol | Insurrection
11.23.12 | setlist looks really solid. you lucky devil
is matt as ugly in person as he is in pictures? | Funeralopolis
11.23.12 | yea he is pretty gross looking, but on the plus side there was a guy next to me who looked like Nicholas Cage. | demigod!
11.23.12 | where did they play?
you live in ottawa right? | Funeralopolis
11.23.12 | yea they played at mavericks | EyesWideShut
11.23.12 | when crown of horns started did that monster scream and "i do that rather well" part play? | Funeralopolis
11.23.12 | yea they just had a sample for it | witchxrapist
11.23.12 | nice dude | Brumas
11.24.12 | I want to see em live, my god why can't Worm just do this again. I know he's busy being a literary professor genius but fuck I want those screams. |
