Thinking/movie Music

So...I've hit the 15k mark in my iTunes, with plenty of casualties along the likes of Limp Bizkit and other terrible music along the way, pushing my true music total to something closer to 20k. This inclusion is by no means a form of bragging, but more a proper prologue to my increasing boredom with conventional music. I've thankfully reopened my Phil Elverum lovetank (previously only listened to his Microphones stuff) and have truly discovered the brilliance of his Mount Eerie work. I found myself lost in the soundscapes of his albums, and loved the dark well feeling it mostly puts one in. Naturally I began hunting for similarly stark, spacious, movie-like music and here's a decent little batch that's keeping me ominously staring forward.
