Curse. 02.24.13	I am totally in the camp of Arrows and Anchors being their best release. For me it isn't even close though.

PistolPete 02.24.13	My problem with it (and I said pretty much the same thing in a thread for that album) was that the album is full of just weaker demo-versions of songs on 2. Like...I get that they came first and so they're technically the originals. But after hearing them on 2 do I really need to hear them again on 3? And of the few songs that aren't on 2, most are just instrumentals. Iunno I'm being a whiny ignorant fuck about it hahaha but I just don't get it.

Cipieron 02.24.13	lol no i get it, i was kind of the same way for awhile since i got started on Fables. for me it's just interesting to hear the progression of where they've come from. i'd give it one listen through though, you never know. definitely listen to Quince and Orphan Anthem though

Cipieron 02.24.13	last i've heard is that they're writing for the next album right now. they aren't on tour anymore and their bassist is on the road with 10 Years right now so hopefully they're getting shit done
PistolPete 02.24.13	I hope they take their time on the next release. They seem like a band that's getting a little overexcited with the success of their recent stuff. And overexcited bands can so very often rush new material that ends up sounding safe. Red is a fantastic example of a band like that.
Cipieron 02.27.13	^ i agree, especially since it's only been 1.5 years since Arrows came out. But knowing FtM, i expect it'll be at least mid-next year before they're even close to putting something out
